Help Naomi living with Cancer

Hi everybody!

We are a group of 5 friends; mothers and wives, just like Naomi. Naomi, devastatingly, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel cancer. We wanted to try and help make her life a little less difficult, by raising enough funds to allow Naomi, her husband Lee and two daughters a break away from reality and to enjoy quality family time anywhere in the UK.

So, what are we planning? Well, we all met Naomi in the beautiful village of Miserden, Gloucestershire. They have recently moved house, which is 42 kilometers away. Naomi was 42 years old when she was diagnosed, so we felt this was the perfect challenge for us to complete. On Saturday 30th April 2022, we will be walking 42k in a day, from Miserden to Naomi's front door, Starting at 7 am and hopefully finishing in time for Supper by the River, blisters and all!

This is by far, the biggest challenge we have done as a group. We haver already started training and continue to do so, to give us all the best chance of fulfilling this for our friend. The pain and exhaustion we may feel during the trek is so insignificant to the daily challenges that are thrown Naomi's way, there was never a question in our minds- we are doing this ! We will be documenting our highs and lows along the way and hope that you will join us on our journey too.
