I am reaching out because I have found myself in a very difficult situation. I became the victim of a “military” love scam, which led to legal trouble. Now, I am facing the possibility of jail or prison if I cannot come up with half the restitution by April 21st. On top of this, I am dealing with many health issues and am currently under the care of several doctors.

What makes this even harder is that I am the primary caregiver for my elderly mother. If I am unable to stay with her, she may have to go into a nursing home, which is something I desperately want to avoid. I know I made mistakes, and I am doing my best to take responsibility and make things right.
