My name is Brandon, and I am creating this fundraiser for my wife, Naomi.

For many years, Naomi worked as a hairdresser, helping her clients look and feel their best while building strong relationships with the people she served.

Our lives changed forever when Naomi was diagnosed with malignant pleural mesothelioma, a rare and aggressive form of lung cancer that affects the lining of the lungs.

The disease has taken away so much from us already. Because of her illness, Naomi is no longer able to work as a hairdresser, resulting in the loss of her income and the career she loved. At the same time, I have had to take significant time away from work to care for her, attend appointments, coordinate her medical care, and be by her side throughout this fight. Every day away from work means lost wages, but caring for Naomi is where I need to be.

We are doing everything possible to give Naomi the best chance in this battle. We are seeking specialist consultations, second opinions, advanced testing, and exploring treatment options and clinical trials that may provide additional hope.

The funds raised will help with:

• Replacing lost income from Naomi being unable to work due to cancer

• Replacing lost wages while I take time away from work to care for Naomi

• Travel expenses for specialist appointments and treatment consultations

• Medical expenses not fully covered by insurance
