Hi! I’m Naomi, a musician/songwriter, prayer leader, and believer in the path of healing, through music. I have been singing and writing songs for as long as I can remember. After many years of praying, playing, dreaming, and collaborating, I’m creating my first full album of Jewish prayer music—music rooted in Torah, tefillah (prayer), longing, love of the Divine, healing, and the human voice as a vessel for the Beyond. My hope and intention is that this music will serve as a space for you as listener to feel, to open, to connect inward and outward.

These songs will be a collection of original Jewish prayer songs, traditional prayer music, and songs penned from the heart-- words drawn from traditional texts and the inner landscapes alike. These songs are sourced both in tradition, and in my own experiences of navigating all the beauty, love, loss, and human-ness that life entails. Too, many of the songs are an invitation to turn inward, with love, and to turn outward, in devotion. The album's mixtures and textures mirror much of the Neo-Hasidic Jewish world I inhabit in Jerusalem, blending inspiration from traditional and innovative prayer, contemplative Jewish practice, and the inner life.

These songs have been living in me for years, and I have been longing to share them with the world. This album is an offering.

Producing an album independently requires significant resource. My goal is to raise $20,000, which will cover studio recording & production, mixing & mastering, musicians and collaborators, and distribution and release costs. With your support, this long-time dream can become reality and make its way into the world!
