On September 23rd, Naoko Harada and her daughter Leah were involved in a devastating car accident. The two were leaving their friend's house, sat at a stop sign. They were attempting to make a left turn, but were struck by an oncoming, speeding truck. The impact destroyed her car, leaving Naoko and Leah injured.

While Leah was left relatively unscathed, Naoko’s left pelvis was shattered, resulting in multiple fractures and the possibility of life-threatening internal bleeding. The two were rushed to the hospital. The next day, Naoko underwent surgery, repairing some of the damage to her body. However, the crash has left her out of work for the rest of the year, and will have to undergo physical therapy to walk once more.

Naoko has always been a responsible, law-abiding driver. She is the wife and mother of a beautiful family and a devout Christian.
