UPDATE: 10/24/24 My mother, Nannette, has now had two chemo treatments! So far everything has been going well. The port that was put in has been giving them trouble but that is common. She ended up in the ER on October 17th for 12 hours after fainting and hurting her hip. They don’t think it has to do with the chemo, but hopefully not another thing added to her list of medical problems..
We also will be having a benefit on November 9th, 2024 at the VFW in Keeseville NY. Thank you to everyone who has donated, reached out or even help transport my mother. We appreciate it x1000!!!
UPDATE: 10/6/24 My momma starts chemotherapy on Thursday, October 10th. It’s once a week, for 3 week cycles for the next 4 months. We all are extremely nervous with how she will react to it.
She also will get her genetic testing results back on October 14th, which will let us know if this is hereditary or not.
She then has a PET scan the following day. As of her past MRI’s, we know it has not spread, especially to her brain with her also having MS (multiple sclerosis).
UPDATE: 10/1/24 My momma's port was implanted today and will begin a rigorous and lengthy Chemotherapy treatment plan any day now. As of right now, she is doing okay but is very sore.
Our family is sincerely grateful for the generous donations to the Gofundme this far. We are hoping to reach the $5,000 by the last day in October!!
Please remember October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and helping to meet my momma’s GoFundMe goal will be one of the wonderful and most meaningful days to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness month
Hello, my name is Charley Doner. Two months ago my mother, Nannette Bezio, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She will be receiving four rounds of chemotherapy starting in mid-October, then will have surgery. Proceeds generated will assist Nannette with medical, travel, and household expenses. Thank you.
