Hello, my name is Nanishka, or known as Nani, and I’m going through a very challenging health situation.

I’m sharing this story personally, so you know this is my journey and my request for help.

In August 2025, I had surgery on my left hip, but unfortunately, it did not go as expected and complications arose. Because of this, I now need a new total left hip replacement surgery as soon as possible.

I have been diagnosed with advanced necrosis and bone displacement, which has prevented me from walking normally and causes constant pain.

Doctors have recommended performing the surgery between November 4 and 18 before my condition worsens further.

This surgery involves removing the previous prosthesis and installing a new one, and there is a possibility that during the procedure the bone could fracture, which would extend my recovery to at least three months.

During this time, I will be unable to work, and as a single mom of two children — an 8-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl — I am worried about how I will manage while going through this process.

Since June 13, 2025, I have been unable to work, covering all living and medical expenses on my own, including household needs, medications, medical appointments, and transportation.

It has been a very difficult journey, but I remain hopeful that I will be able to walk again and care for my children like before.

I am raising $5,000 to cover the medical expenses not covered by my insurance, including the new prosthesis, the specialized tray to remove the old prosthesis, and other surgical materials that must be paid entirely out of pocket.

Part of this goal will also help cover platform fees and initial recovery costs, such as medications, therapy, and transportation.

Every donation, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to walking without pain, taking care of my children, and regaining my independence.
