For almost two years, Nailett suffered disabling pain in her left leg.
Doctors didn't believe her. They treated her for depression instead.
A psychiatrist told her: *"Talk to your leg. The pain is imaginary."*
By the time they listened, the tumor was 14 centimeters. *Sarcoma.*
She went into surgery at 30 with her whole life ahead of her.
She walked out with a four-point cane. Forever.
Two years of being ignored had cost her everything.

**2017: THE TREATMENT THAT NEVER CAME**
Thyroid cancer. After surgery, she needed radioactive iodine therapy to eliminate remaining cancer cells.
