Dear family and friends,

On Monday, July 29th 2024, Nanette Crawford unexpectedly passed away in her home. Nanette has three children, Austen (25), Violet (15), and Jude (12). We are heartbroken by the loss of a mother, sister, daughter, granddaughter, niece, and friend. Nanette was an extremely hardworking woman and was a great joy to be around. Her inappropriate jokes and creative lingos were sure to make anyone laugh.

I never imagined I would be personally organizing the memorial service for my mother at 25 years old. She was always there. Whenever I called, she was there to answer the phone. My mom taught me everything I know about work ethic and waiting on people. She was an absolute force on the banquet floors and served some of the most famous people on Earth. Everything I have accomplished in the service industry, I can a-credit to my mother.

It’s never easy losing a mother, especially at such a young age. We are deeply saddened by the fact that she will not be able to witness us grow to have families of our own. We will carry her memory and the lessons she's taught us forever. Though she had struggles throughout her life, she always had much love for God, her family, and friends.

We are all absolutely devastated by the loss of Nanette, and are struggling to find the funds necessary to cover the costs for the memorial service. We have started a Gofundme in efforts to cover the memorial service, as well as help the family in this time of need. If you are able to do so, please donate. Every and all donations will be appreciated during this difficult time. We are following Nanette's wishes to be cremated and spread within the family. We are using the donations to cover the costs of the cremation, memorial service, and expenses to allow the children to spend much needed time with loved ones.

The memorial service will be held at the Walled Lake Church of Christ on Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at 11:00am for family, 11:30am for friends, and the service will follow at 12:00pm.
