Help Nancy's Sons Rebuild After Heartbreaking Loss

Our beautiful, single mother of 3 sons recently had a stroke on August 20th, 2024, and was hospitalized that same day. She passed on August 27th. Her name was Nancy Quinones. She had 5 brain aneurysms, one of which ruptured, causing her to have bleeding in her brain and experience her second stroke, ending fatally. She had just dropped her youngest son at school and went back home to take her second son to work an hour later. Around 9:40 am, her middle son heard her cry out his name twice in distress. He rushed over to her, and she was sitting in her bed keeled over, having a stroke. He quickly called 911 and laid her on her back. While waiting for the first responders and ambulance, she stopped breathing. Her son performed CPR and was able to get her breathing again. He held her in his arms until the ambulance arrived.

She was strong-willed and good-hearted. She moved to Georgia with her 3 sons from Staten Island, NY, to give them a better and safer life, leaving a poverty-driven state to provide them with a pathway to a greater, stable lifestyle. Nancy graduated college from West Tech GA and became a medical assistant, but due to her medical issues, she wasn’t able to pursue her career choice, continuing to do odd jobs and support her children. Unfortunately, important paperwork like birth certificates and SSN cards of her children were stolen by close family members. Those are needed to access her bill information and apply and work at jobs. Her sons weren’t left with anything of their mother's. The house was raided by close family members.
