Last year, I experienced a series of frightening health events—ocular migraines, intense hot flashes, and chest pain—that led me to seek medical help. After undergoing MRI scans and other tests, I was diagnosed with an ischemic stroke. Further testing revealed four blocked arteries at 60%. Since then, I haven’t been able to work, and it’s unlikely I’ll be able to return to my previous job. My husband is retired, and I am the main source of income for our family. We have two kids, ages 16 and 12, who rely on us for daily needs and transportation to therapy.

This sudden change has left us struggling to cover basic expenses like bills, rent, food, and gas to get to medical appointments and therapy sessions. I never imagined I would be in a position where I’d need to ask for help, but I am desperate. My family needs reliable transportation and support to get through this difficult time.
