Help Nancy's Family Rebuild After Devastating Fire

Hi. My name is Evangela, and my family and I are from Georgia. On September 9, 2024 around 1:00 a.m., my niece, Na'Shonterria was watching a show on the laptop in the back of the house. She got up to get a drink of water from the kitchen. When she opened the middle door that separated the front from the back of the house, she saw black smoke and fire. My mom, Nancy Wooden, had just woken up and was sitting on the side of the bed while the rest of us were asleep in our rooms. I was awakened out of my sleep by my niece's screams of the house being on fire.

I opened my bedroom door and saw the black smoke. We couldn't escape through the front door. My niece ran to her bedroom and escaped through her bedroom window. My mom, 4 year old nephew, sisters, and myself escaped through my sister, Jasmine's window. By the time we ran off the porch and got to the end of the street, the entire front porch was engulfed in flames. The firefighters came and it took hours for them to contain the fire.

We lost everything, but are so grateful that we made it out alive by the grace of God. We didn't have renter's insurance. We're requesting help to attain a new home, purchase clothes, pay for bills, purchase food, and to purchase and rebuild the physical things that were destroyed. There are things that can't be salvaged of course. We're a family of 7, the youngest being 4 years old. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
