Nancy has been going through some hard times for a few months, and it has reached a crisis point. She was evicted from her home of 17 years and has been staying in a motel for the past few weeks, but has to move out this coming Wednesday, March 19th.

She is not well and needs medical care, but has been trying to deal with the basics of living during this time. She hasn't been out of bed for most of the past week, can't keep any food down, and is in pain from past back problems.

Her belongings, including her computer, are in a storage unit and she has no car.

She has been working with Social Services to find a permanent place to live, but her Disability benefit is only $1022/month, and both Assisted Living facilities and Low Income rentals have long waiting lists.

Our goal is to ease Nancy's financial worries during this transition, giving her the time and resources to concentrate on her medical needs and getting back to enjoying life. We want to supplement her income and ensure that she has a decent, comfortable place to stay .

We will pay for the storage unit as well as covering her past bills and provide her with a safety net while she finds a new place to live.
