Help Nancy Restart after Birch Bay House Fire
Donation protected
On March 6, 2022 while Nancy was out on a walk with her friend, her home caught fire (the cause is still unknown). A neighbor spotted smoke and called 911 while other neighbors gathered around to help, although the small wood cabin quickly became engulfed in flame. Her pet dog, Davis, passed away inside the home. The house caved in shortly after firefighters began taming the flames, and in about 30 minutes, there was nothing left to salvage. Nancy is 63, lives alone and does not have family close by to help... although she was "deeply moved by the amount of support the neighborhood showed". In 24 hours Nancy has been given clothing and a place to stay, but she truly has nothing left and will need to completely rebuild her life. Please consider donating any amount of money to help her meet immediate needs such as clothing, food, and beginning the process of replacing items she has lost. Thank you for your help.
