Nancy is a devoted home care nurse who has always put others first. She gave up her job and provided 24 hour care for our dear friend Joanne, who was battling Parkinson's disease. For ten months, Nancy was by Joanne's side, offering compassion and support when it was needed most. During this time, Nancy depleted her savings to ensure Joanne received the care she needed. Joanne had promised to leave half the proceeds from her home to Nancy after her passing, but unfortunately, that never happened. Now, the tables have turned, and Nancy is the one in need.

Recently, Nancy was diagnosed with kidney cancer. She is facing high medical deductibles, and on top of that, the city is threatening her with daily fines for her crumbling garage. The financial stress is overwhelming, and Nancy needs help to cover her medical bills and repair her garage so she can focus on her treatment and recovery.
