Help Nancy Get New Lungs

Hi, my name is Andrea and I am raising funds for my mom’s lung transplant surgery. Last August my mom was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. She had always planned to live to be 93 but at only 65 she was given a 3-5 year prognosis unless she is able to get a double lung transplant. After the shock of the diagnosis wore off we started looking into the transplant process. Our local hospital turned her down in May but we were determined not to give up. The next closest option for her is the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. They have given us the hope we need to go on and have placed her on the transplant list. The next hurdle we have to face is raising enough money to relocate our family to Cleveland for 6-8 weeks after her surgery. She will also be faced with out of pocket charges related to her hospital stay. I have a really hard time asking for anything for myself but I would give the world for my mother. So I am stepping out of my comfort zone to ask if you have it in your hearts to please donate to our fund. Let’s get some new lungs for my mom so she can live to be 93.
