To all my friends, family, and supporters who follow my channel — this is the first time I’ve ever done something like this, but my heart is telling me it’s the right thing to do.

I’m very excited (and humbled) to start a GoFundMe for someone who has truly been one of my closest friends — the amazing Nancy Gelfo. When I first moved to South Florida, Nancy made my life so much easier and brighter, and now it’s my turn to help her.

Recently, Nancy was diagnosed with breast cancer and bravely underwent a mastectomy. Thankfully, she’s home and recovering, but as many of you know, we both work in the service industry, where taking medical leave means no paycheck.

I’ve helped Nancy carefully budget everything — from rent to utilities — and unfortunately, with only one income coming in, it’s simply not enough to cover the basics. My goal with this GoFundMe is to raise funds to help Nancy and her partner, Bert, keep up with essential bills like rent, electricity, cell phone, and water while she focuses fully on her healing.

Nancy is the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone else — anyone who knows her can tell you that. Now she deserves that same love and support in return.

I’m beyond grateful that my friend is on the road to recovery, and I want to make sure she can do it without the stress of losing her home or falling behind. Every little bit helps, and every donation — big or small — will go directly toward helping Nancy heal in peace and strength.
