Hi everyone. My name is Taylor and I’m raising money for my sweet grandmother Mary Paolina. Mary is 90 years old and for her entire life she has been the matriarch of our family. She has always put everyone in front of herself through her entire life. She’s such a strong and independent woman and what she’s going through is absolutely awful. Mary is 90 years old now and we have come to a point where we cannot financially afford to give her the care she desperately needs.
Mary Underwent an extremely invasive spinal surgery back in August of 2022 and her recovery has been nothing short of a nightmare. Mary now needs around the clock care which we just can’t afford… Her insurance only covers so much, but it is not enough. Since her surgery, my father Phil Paolina and I have been her sole caregivers and we are doing everything we can but at this point Mary needs professional care. Mary cannot walk more than 5 steps on her own. She can’t bathe/shower herself. She can’t cook for herself. She can’t even get in and out of bed on her own, leaving her couch bound… And if you know Mary, you’d know how heartbroken and devastated this makes her feel. She is scared. She is in pain. And she needs our help.
In patient care costs out of pocket, $6000 a month; It’s not cheap. We never thought we would come to this point but we are desperate. Please, if you can donate toward our cause it would be appreciated more than you know. Thank you for taking the time in reading this.. May God bless you
