Help Namulondo Mary Get Urgent Surgery
Donation protected
Dear friends and kind-hearted supporters,
I am reaching out on behalf of my daughter, Namulondo Mary, a bright and courageous 15-year-old who urgently needs life-changing orthopedic surgery at CoRSU Rehabilitation Hospital in Kisubi, Uganda.
Mary was born with sickle-cell disease, a chronic condition that has caused her immense pain and numerous medical complications. In 2024, she suffered a severe sickle-cell crisis that badly damaged her hip and leg. Since then, she has lived in constant pain, with limited mobility and difficulty performing even simple daily tasks.
Mary has already faced more than most children her age. She lost her mother in a tragic accident, and I’ve been doing my best as her father to support her through everything—emotionally, physically, and now medically.
Breakdown of Medical Needs:
Orthopedic Surgery (with implants): UGX 22,500,000
X-ray & Blood Tests: UGX 315,000
Physiotherapy & General Ward Admission: UGX 590,000
Total Estimated Cost: UGX 23,405,000 (Approx. AUD [$10057.67]
Please see the attached official hospital quotation from CoRSU for full details.
This is a life-changing operation for Mary. Without it, she faces ongoing suffering, complications from sickle-cell disease, and a loss of independence.
I kindly ask for your support—any amount, big or small—to help Mary get the surgery and care she urgently needs. Your generosity could give her a second chance at a pain-free life.
I will keep you updated every step of the way. Thank you for standing with Mary in this difficult time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
