help Namirah through her cancer journey

Donation protected
Hi everyone I’m writing as a close friend of Namirah’s mummy, Concetta Carpenter. On 4th December 2 year old Namirah was diagnosed with Leukemia. She has already spent a month in hospital, undergoing countless tests, lots of blood transfusions, treatments, and strong chemotherapy.

Mirah is such a happy, playful child, but now she hasn’t even spoken for nearly a month due to all the trauma of being in hospital and enduring treatment. She and her 22 aged mum live on their own, and her mum has had to step down from work she likely won’t be able to return for 2–5 years because of the long, ongoing treatment Namirah needs. As Namirah can’t attend school due to her being an
Autoimmune child.

Childhood cancer is rare in Western Australia, only 90–100 kids are diagnosed each year, and Namirah is one of them. The type of leukaemia only being 3-4 children per 100,000 diagnosed.

Even if you can’t donate, sharing this page or keeping Namirah and her mum in your thoughts and prayers/Duas would mean the world. Or even registering on the stem cell donor list if you end up being a match for someone you can save someone’s life. Being of Namirah’s rare ethnicity of Ethiopian/Italian/Irish it would make it a lot harder for her to have a donor which is the case for a lot of children all you have to do is a swab of your mouth❤️

All donations are being directly sent to Concetta, the mother, in hopes that whatever we can raise will help her and her daughter in paying for the medical bills, housing and groceries as Concetta is no longer able to work because she has become a full time carer for Namirah.

Update from 2nd of January Namirah came home for 3 days then around 2pm Namirah became unresponsive which she was rushed by ambulance back to PCH now she is stable in hospital with further testing taking place to see if she may of experienced a seizure.

We pray she makes a recovery, it’s so heart breaking have to watch her go thru such a hardship at such a young age.
Thank you for helping this little fighter and her family.
