Please Help Nali's Life saving surgery expenses

Hi, my name is Jay and I started this fundraiser for my best friend Nali.

Nali is a Boston Terrier / Shihtzu mix and to some, might just look like a normal companion dog, but to me, she is so much more. Nali is nothing but a blessing and I can’t imagine being without her. When life is getting me down, she knows exactly what I need. During this pandemic, my mental health has taken a toll, but having her around makes everything just a little bit easier. Nali is a stage 5 clinger, and wants to be next to me at all times. She is my workout spotter, 5-mile running partner, my sous-chef in the kitchen, and my cuddle buddy. As an introverted person, I have a difficult time expressing myself, but Nali’s unconditional love gives me relief and comfort to make it through the day; and that is priceless. 

Unfortunately, after a routine check-up, an ultrasound revealed a rupture in her gallbladder resulting in us deciding on an emergency Cholecystectomy procedure with the doctor stating she has a 50/50 chance of survival during surgery and post-ops.

So far, the blood tests, x-ray, ultrasound, and surgery has racked up to costing $13,806.42 which I was able to finance, but it has definitely taken a toll. It's no surprise that veterinary costs are awfully high and that's why I am here today because I am willing to do whatever it takes to save my best friend and make sure she lives a happy, healthy life. When it comes to helping Nali, I’ll do whatever is needed to make sure she is okay. 

The doctors said that a cholecystectomy procedure may open up “Pandora's box” for other potential complications. This warning is why I want to raise funds for Nali for what more she may have to endure. Nali is currently recovering from the surgery, and the doctors are monitoring how she responds to the treatment.
