I’m raising funds to help me go back to my home country of Peru as a missionary with SIM Latin America. With the COVID crisis I’m stuck in Australia until boarders open and I get a flight. Your donations will help me purchase flights and relocate to Peru.
My Australian story started when I moved here more than 10 years ago to study Nursing and then Community Services at TAFE. Over this time while attending Church by the Bridge my love to serve children has grown and God opened my eyes to further opportunities to serve Him.
In 2018, God helped me to get a scholarship to study in the Bible College SMBC, it was something unexpected. Through my studies God makes me clearly understand the need of Christian workers. And I felt that He was calling me to serve Him in Peru. Thanks to God I have been accepted by SIM Latin America to work in Abancay which is a small town in the highlands.
Many people in Abancay live in poverty, their live are marked by suffering and difficulties, and many of them do not know about God, about His mercy and love, they live without the hope that only God gives. I know what it is mean to live in poverty but during my suffering and difficulties I cling to God, He gave me hope and He changed my life.
With your prayers and funds, I’m hoping God allows me to go to Abancay soon, I would like to use my nursing and community services to reach people and share the good news of the gospel. If it is God will I would love to run women Bible studies and children's programs. I believe God through his work of Jesus can transform people, families, and communities, So God can transform the life of people in Abancay. I would love that you partner with me, in prayers and financially to make it possible to go back to Peru.
