Help Nala Run Again: Support Her ACL Surgery

Hi Everyone!

We’re Karissa and Jay, a husband-and-wife team of dog sitters and trainers with a deep love for helping animals. Recently, one of our former clients, a sweet dog named Nala, came into our care when she needed a new home. We couldn’t say no to fostering her, but when she arrived, it was clear she needed more help than we realized.

Nala, a spirited 5-year-old with so much life and love to give, was undernourished and struggling with a torn ACL. Over the past few months, we’ve worked hard to nurse her back to health—getting her nutrition back on track and finding her the perfect forever home with a wonderful family.

Unfortunately, the torn ACL is still holding her back. Nala loves to run, play, and explore, but this injury causes her pain and keeps her from being the active dog she wants to be. Her new family is ready to give her all the love and care she deserves, but the cost of the surgery—approximately $5,000— will be a bit of a financial burden.

That’s where we’re hoping you can help. We’re raising funds to cover Nala’s surgery so she can finally live the full, joyful life she was meant to have. Every dollar raised will go directly toward her surgery and recovery, ensuring she has the chance to play, run, and thrive for years to come.
