Nala is my 4-year-old blue heeler, and she’s the heart of our home. She’s playful, loving, and a little shy, but always brings joy to everyone she meets. On Saturday night, Nala tore her ACL (tendon) on her left rear leg. It was heartbreaking to see her in pain, and we rushed her in for X-rays and blood work the next day. The diagnosis was clear—she needs TPLO surgery (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy) to repair her leg and give her the best chance at a full recovery.

The cost of the surgery is overwhelming, especially since my job is seasonal and money is tight right now. We’re doing everything we can, but it’s more than we can manage alone. Nala means the world to us, and we want nothing more than to see her back to her happy, active self.
