Nala has been my rock for the last 9+ years. When I first moved to LA, I needed something that felt like home, and she was that for me the second I met her in the shelter. I don't know what my future is going to look like without her, and it truly terrifies me. But I want the best for her, and I can only do that if I don't have this financial burden hovering over me. I want to be present in her last few months with me and make every day special. She has been my support system, my heart, my everything.

Nala started to experience health issues on and off since October last year. Due to some extreme visits which landed her in overnight care at the emergency room, we capped out of her insurance in February. Since then, everything has been out of pocket. Unfortunately, we found out a few weeks ago she has an inoperable brain tumor. The vet bills keep piling up. We were recently quoted that she would only have 2-4 months to live. We're hoping for more, of course, and looking for ways to extend her life without pursuing radiation. Her insurance won't renew until July, sadly. So we're looking for help to keep her life going and not fall into a complete financial strain.

The money will go to past visits and future ones. It would help cover her MRIs, medication for palliative care, blood work, any emergency situations, and, if we sadly get to a point where we need to lay her to rest.
