Late January, Nakia tackled one of her biggest goals, purchasing a home for her and her 2 girls, Dyllan and Mya. Nakia is a single mom whose been facing obstacles her whole life. She's also a first generational home buyer who worked extremely hard to put her and the girls in a better environment. Unfortunately, before she could get completely settled, an accident occurred which caused a fire. Everything was burned including her precious memories of her mom! To make matters worse, her friend Carletta's son, EJ was burned in the fire. A baby just 11 months old. Nakia and EJ both suffer from 2nd degree burns. EJ is still in the hospital.
