Hi everyone, my name is Nakai Garcia Coleman, I'm an 11-year-old competitive dancer with big dreams and even bigger dedication! My Dance Journey & Commitment

My mom likes to say I've been dancing since the womb but officially since I was six years old dancing in numerous shows and now competitively. I am trained in Jazz, Ballet, and Hip-Hop, I take skills classes in Acro and Breaking and this season will be adding Tap, my commitment to dance is serious. I train approximately 40 hours a week to prepare for each season, constantly pushing myself to improve and be the best dancer I can be. My goal is to pursue dancing all the way through college, and every hour I spend in the studio is a step closer to that dream.

A Season of Outstanding Achievements!

Just last year I entered the world of competitive dance, and the experience was truly unforgettable! I was honored to be part of the mini hip hop and pom teams. We had an incredible year, traveling throughout California and Nevada. My team truly showcased world-class talent, achieving remarkable results: we placed 1st place in both hip hop and poms and became Grand Champions at USA Nationals. Being part of such a talented and dedicated team has been an amazing experience.

While my passion for dance is boundless, the reality of competitive dance comes with significant financial demands. The costs associated with competing at this elite level – from tuition and coaching to costumes, travel, hotel, and competition fees – are a constant challenge for my family.
