Chance To Survive. Help Najwa Scape From Gaza War

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ahmed Alkhaldi. I live in Canada and i am creating this fundraise for my aunt " Najwa Saleh Mohamad Shamon " She lives in Gaza stripe right now and she's seeking your assistant to scape from the war to another safe country. This is her message to you :

In the midst of war, survival takes on a whole new meaning.

I am Najwa Shamoun, a poet and writer from Rafah in the Gaza Strip. I am witnessing the annihilation of humanity in my homeland. The current situation is sheer madness. Instead of progressing towards peace and prosperity, the world seems to be regressing towards war, destruction, and death. Every living being has the fundamental right to live in peace and security, yet war has brought me face to face with unexpected companions - cats. Once fearful of them, I now find solace in their presence.

I began to document their world - a world akin to that of children - filled with characters like Mishmish, Lulu, and their playful kittens. Amidst the chaos of bombing and panic, I sought to shield them from harm. Cats, with their remarkable intelligence, became my unlikely allies in the midst of turmoil. Their antics provided a respite from the constant onslaught of warplanes and bombings. I witnessed this firsthand when a small kitten playfully knocked something off the table, making a loud noise. In response, the mother cast a reproachful glance, her senses finely tuned to the noise of external threats - the horrifying sound of warplanes, drones, and the deafening roar of bombings.

No one is spared from the horrors of war. Humans, birds, and animals alike are all caught up in the grip of terror, facing hunger and death. I spent days searching for cat food and litter, but unfortunately, my efforts have often been in vain. Even when I manage to locate some, the prices are shockingly high, far beyond what I can afford. Consequently, I resort to feeding them whatever scraps I can find, even if it poses potential harm to their health.

Prior to the war, I published works such as "Gaza: Bells in the Wind" and "As It Should Be," alongside an upcoming book titled "Water Traps." My next endeavor will delve into the complexities of peace, war, and everything in between.

In the face of silence and complacency, we are all at risk. I am desperately seeking a way out of Gaza to reclaim life and continue my literary pursuits as a writer, poet, and advocate for self-care. In war, there is no wisdom, only fear and relentless bombardment. Death looms around every corner, a constant reminder of the precariousness of life. But amidst the chaos, there is hope. I am determined to save the lives of the cats and bring them to safety. I extend my deepest gratitude to all those who choose to support our cause. Your empathy gives me strength in these difficult times. The journey to safety is full of challenges. The only viable option for leaving Gaza is through the services provided by the Egyptian company "Ya Hala," albeit at a steep cost. But despite the odds, I remain committed to ensuring the survival of both myself and the cats who have become my companions on this journey. While some may see this as mere madness or fiction, the truth is far harsher: it's a brutal and lonely reality I've endured for over six long months. Amid this hardship, the presence of the cats has been my relief and protection, offering solace from pain, despair, and the threat of fading away. Now, as I seek salvation, I am committed to sparing no effort in ensuring their safety alongside mine, for it is through their companionship that I may once again reconnect with my humanity.
