Help Najla and Her Children

I am Najla, a mother of three young children, the eldest of whom is not yet five years old. The youngest is two years old, and in my womb is an innocent child waiting to see the light in this dark world. I am now in my ninth month of pregnancy and will give birth to my baby girl at any moment, with no water, no milk, no medicine, no food, no transportation, a spread of insects and mosquitoes, and unsanitary water. My children cry out in fear of bombing and hunger every hour, even every minute, as they have no shelter, no food, no water, and no clothing. They show signs of malnutrition, coupled with scarcity of food...

We lived a simple and peaceful life: a warm home, children's laughter, and a sick husband who supported me despite his illness, which lasted five years. We would go together to buy our simple necessities, laugh, eat, and dream like any small family searching for happiness. But the war... took everything away.

They bombed our house with shells, missiles, and bullets, for which we are still paying money to compensate. The laughter has faded... my children are suffering physically and psychologically from fear and hunger. I have no food for them... They ask for food, so I hold back my tears in front of them so they do not feel my helplessness. As for me, my body has weakened from malnutrition to the point that I have difficulty carrying myself. I feel dizzy, lightheaded, have high blood pressure, and numbness in my limbs. I feel like I will fall at any moment. I no longer know how I will receive my new baby girl in light of this pain and loss. How will I put the baby where there is no place, no hospital, no milk, no stool, no medicine?

My sick husband needs medication and has been cut off for two years due to the closure of the crossings and the war. He suffers every day. My children need food and shelter, and I need hope... only hope.

أنا نجلاء… أم لثلاثة أطفال صغار ، أكبرهم لم يتجاوز الخامسة من عمره، وأصغرهم في عامه الثاني… وفي أحشائي طفلة بريئة تنتظر أن ترى النور في هذا العالم المظلم، وأنا الآن في شهري الثامن من الحمل سأضع طفلتي بعد شهر من الآن حيث لا ماء ولا حليب ولا دواء ولا غذاء ولا نقل ومواصلات ، انتشار للحشرات والبعوض ، والمياه الغير صحية..

ابنائي يبكون من أجل خوفا من القصف والجوع كل ساعة بل كل دقيقة ، حيث لا غطاء ولا غذاء ولا مياه ولا ملابس تظهر عليهم علامات سوء التغذية مع قلة الغذاء ..

كنا نعيش حياة بسيطة وهادئة… بيت دافئ، ضحكات أطفال، وزوج مريض لكنه كان سندي رغم مرضه الذي استمر خمس سنوات. كنا نذهب معًا لشراء حاجياتنا البسيطة، نضحك، نأكل، ونحلم كأي عائلة صغيرة تبحث عن السعادة. لكن الحرب… خطفت كل شيء

قصفوا بيتنا بالقذائف والصواريخ ، والرصاص ، الذي ما زلنا ندفع أموال لسداد حقه وتبددت الضحكات… أطفالي أصبحوا يعانون جسديًا ونفسيًا من الخوف والجوع، لا أملك لهم طعامًا… يطلبون الأكل، فأكتم دموعي أمامهم كي لا يشعروا بعجزي . أما أنا، فقد ضعُف جسدي من سوء التغذية حتى بتّ أواجه صعوبة في حملي دوخة ودوار وضغط مرتفع ونمنمة الأطراف وأشعر بأنني سأقع في اي وقت ، ولم أعد أعرف كيف سأستقبل طفلتي الجديدة في ظل هذا الألم والضياع ، كيف سأضع الطفلة حيث لامكان لا مشفى صحي لا حليب لا بمبرز لا دواء

زوجي المريض يحتاج للدواء وهو منقطع منذ عامين بسبب أغلاق المعابر والحرب ، يعاني كل يوم، وأطفالي يحتاجون إلى الغذاء والمأوى، وأنا أحتاج إلى الأمل… فقط الأمل
