We had safety, comfort, and all the essentials we needed. But now, that beautiful house lies in ruins, and my father, who was once a proud medical analysis technician, has lost his job.

At just one year old, my world changed forever. My childhood, meant to be filled with joy, has turned into a daily struggle. My father works tirelessly to provide for my basic needs—diapers and milk that every child deserves—but those essentials have become nearly impossible to find.

Our days are shadowed by hunger and thirst. I often drink dirty water, and the food we have is not enough to keep me healthy. Because of this, I frequently fall ill, suffering from intestinal flu and skin diseases. My father does his best to care for me, but we often go without the medicine I need because we simply can’t afford it.

We dream of a day when I can be a child again—free to play and explore, without the constant fear and scarcity that surrounds us. We long for a moment of peace and the chance to experience the joy of childhood like every other child.
