Help Najeeb and his 5 daughters to get a car

HI, my name is Rushana Rakhimova. I live in Greensboro, NC and volunteer with the non-profit NCACS. I’m writing this on behalf of Najeebullah Sahak, a refugee just recently evacuated by the US government from the war in Afghanistan, a former interpreter for the United States Marine Corps, and above all, a single father of five daughters ages 3- 15 who have all arrived to make a life here in Greensboro NC. Najeeb has been working incredibly hard to settle his family and raise his daughters here in Greensboro NC since his arrival to the country late in 2022. Greensboro is not a commuter friendly city, and right now, the single most important thing that can help him secure a job and financial stability for his five daughters is a vehicle for commuting to and from work. Najeeb moved to North Carolina at the end of 2022 through the support of the North America African Services Coalition, a nonprofit which resettled refugees all over the world. He was born in Soviet controlled Afghanistan in 1987 and has been running from or resisting the Taliban regime his whole life. Although he loves his country, his eyes brim with tears when he explains that he was willing to leave everything behind to secure a stable and peaceful life for his daughters here in the States. Please contribute anything you can. Najeeb has been busy doing everything in his power to establish himself productively here in Greensboro, and now the last thing that stands between him and his dream of financial independence and safety for his family is a means to commute to work and other places. He lives with his five daughters, Heela (15), Rana (12), Hosa (10), Aasinat (7), and Sama (3) who have all begun school this year in the Guilford County School System. 100 percent of donations will be going directly to his bank account to be used for the purchase of a vehicle for commuting to work and transporting his family.
