Hello, my name is Naima. My nephew, Ashar Khalid, who goes by Ahmed, is a very sweet and lovely boy. He is almost 4 years old, but unfortunately has relapsed acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Between 15 to 20% of children who have undergone treatment for ALL and achieve an initial complete remission will have the disease return, like my nephew. He is in Pakistan and his treatment is not possible there as there is no bone marrow match available. After sending his medical reports to a dozen of international hospitals only one hospital in China is able to treat him. His parents need to take him to this Chinese Hospital for a bone marrow transplant for which the hospital estimated would cost $300,000 (almost 50 million Pakistan rupees). This is a huge amount and our family is struggling. Ahmed's father already spent 20 million Pakistani rupees (~$130,000) in medical expenses thus far. We need your support! Together we can reach this goal and get treatment for my nephew. If you can donate, even if it's a small amount everything is appreciated!
