Hello, my name is Naidelyn and I currently study film at Hunter College in NYC. I am originally from Massachusetts, and when I graduated highschool, I moved to New York to study and learn more about acting and film. I am a high honors and gpa student, as well as getting my minor in theatre and dance. My parents, especially my mom personally sacrificed alot for me to have the chance to study and live in NYC. However my family have hit harder times than we usually have and are struggling for help. My mom has worked everyday for the past 20 years to support me and herself, which has left her in extensive physical pain. She has barely time off work in all those years. I am working nonstop while supporting myself through school which has left me more serious in my depression and exhaustion. We are now facing my last year at Hunter and we find ourselves deeper in debt. Hunter has raised my tuition another 1,000 for being late on payment. I am going through much of my money in order to put in the extra 1,000 and my mother finds herself in more stress which is increasing her health risks. I need 8,00 to fulfill my tuition for my last semester beginning in 2022. I hope to reach the funds for the beginning of next semester, which is in late January. Every cent and share will mean the world to me. I would just like to finish my last semester and hand my parents the degree they have sacrificed so hard for me to have. This is one of the last options I have. I hope that I may have a chance to give that to them.
