Help Naiad Walk Again!

I’m currently an unemployed college student with a cat named Naiad who is in dire need of a femur repair surgery. I’m using my parents gofundme in hopes of saving my cats leg. On September 9th, 2021 around 7pm, I found Naiad limping back home, unable to step on his front left leg. We rushed him to an animal hospital in Portland, where after hours of waiting for X-rays we got news that Naiad would need a femur repair surgery due to a metal BB gun wound. We left him there over night and picked him up in the morning.

I called the other animal hospital circled in yellow and got another estimate, which would cut the cost in half. The surgery would be 2,500-3,000 in all. 

 

About Naiad:

 

Naiad was born August 8th 2020, on international cat day. He was the runt of the litter, and after seeing how his siblings would easily push him aside during feedings, I started bottle feeding him.

 

 

 

 

We ended up growing attached to each other, and I knew I had to keep him.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Naiad is 13 months old now. He loves jumping onto high places and sitting on our windows. He’s almost always with his mom, almost always with me. 

Please help me repay my best friend for everything he’s given to me. I want to see him run around the house and chase his mom again, sleep in my lap while I’m playing video games or studying, attack my hands, play soccer with Christmas tree ornaments, and knock random things off of my tables. He had so much energy, seeing him like this is tearing me apart- and it’s still incomparable to the pain he’s feeling.
