Help Nahom Get a Life-Saving Bone Marrow Transplant

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a glimmer of hope. My beloved cousin Nahom (19 years of age) is currently facing a daunting challenge – He is in urgent need of a Bone Marrow Transplant.

Nahom has been battling with Acute Lymphoblastic leukemia. Despite undergoing various treatment options during this time, both at the Black Lion Hospital and in private facilities in Ethiopia, His condition showed no signs of improvement. Despite their unwavering strength and resilience, the doctors at the Black Lion Hospital have recently informed the family that a Bone Marrow Transplant is the best chance for him to overcome this illness and regain his health.

Regrettably, such a procedure cannot currently be performed in Ethiopia. Consequently, doctors at the Black Lion Hospital have recommended seeking a more comprehensive diagnosis and treatment abroad. Plans are underway to take Nahom to India for the necessary medical care. However, as you can imagine, the cost of a bone marrow transplant overseas is substantial ($40,000-$70.,000). Alongside the procedure, numerous other expenses include hospital stays, medications, post-transplant care, and more. As my beloved cousin, Nahom, fights for his life, the weight of these financial burdens bears heavily upon his family.
