Help Nahla and Her Siblings Survive in Gaza

Donation protected
Hello, I’m Heba Ghazal. My cousin has reached out to me for help. This is her story:

Hi, I’m Nahla Ghazal a 23 year old female that was a college student studying nursing in Gaza. They say the best years of your life are your twenties. Let me show you my life right now:

Every morning my three siblings and I wake up after sleeping on mats that we positioned on the floor in a corner of the school room. We have been displaced from our home for 5 months now. We have a few pillows and blankets that sometimes block out the cold at night. We have found some empty flour bags that we are using to keep our belongings from getting wet from the cold rainy days.

My siblings are Ibrahim, Ahmed, and the youngest Atef who is 12 years old. We live with our uncle who is helping us get food and water.

The first people get water, they run out fairly quickly. Food is an even harder commodity to find. We are hungry everyday. Sometimes we get a few canned food that we heat like this.

I wish we had our parents to help me and my siblings. We haven’t seen my dad since the war. I don’t know where he is and my mom is in Egypt, we miss them.

we feel lost and are depressed most days since there is not much to do but sit and watch our surroundings. The drone is very loud and so are the bombs that come and go in the background.

we live at this school it used to be a place for little kids to learn, now it houses ten of thousands of families that lost everything

we don’t have any money. We want to go to our mom in Egypt. It costs $5,000 for one person to leave Gaza and this war. I want to take my siblings to my mom where it is safe. I want to help them and feed them. We don’t have any clothes. All our stuff got bombed. They bombed our home. We need help.

the funds of this fundraiser will go to food, water and clothing to Nahla Ghazal and her three siblings whom currently reside in Khan Younis. If enough funds are made we hope to send all four of them to Egypt. The Egyptians charge $5,000 as fees to cross the border per person. It would be most ideal to have them reunited with their mom. However, if the goal is not met then the funds will be used for daily expenses like food, water, clothing and hygiene products. I will be sending the funds to her brother Ibrahim Ghazal’s account via wire transfer.
