Hello everyone,
My name is Abdul-Rahim Dahman, I am a US citizen and I am running this fundraiser for my friend Nagham Ahmad and her two parents.
Nagham is a 21-year-old 4th year university student who is learning to become a nurse. Growing up in Gaza, she and her family have witnessed many bombing campaigns by the Israeli government, and she wanted to become a nurse to be able to help people and alleviate their suffering. She has used her skills and education as a nurse to support the injured any way she can, but the situation has continued to deteriorate. There are no hospitals left, and as of writing this on 07th May 2024, volunteer medical envoys have been forced to leave Gaza due to Israel's invasion of Rafah.
Since the beginning of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, Nagham and her family have lost everything; their home, their belongings, and many, many members of their community.

After:
After losing their home, they were living in the tent city of Rafah before the Israeli military invaded it as a part of their ongoing ethnic cleansing campaign, and are now in Al-Maghazi in Deir Al-Balah.
At her age, Nagham has already witnessed more pain and trauma than anyone should have to in a lifetime. As she continues to help heal and save people despite dwindling resources, she still holds onto the dream that she can one day complete her education outside of Gaza, and to bring her parents with her.
THE GOALS OF THIS FUNDRAISER ARE THE FOLLOWING:
1) Gather funds for Nagham and her family for food and basic necessities
2) Help them afford medication for her father, who is diabetic and has high blood pressure
3) Have enough to leave Gaza once that becomes an available option
Statement from Nagham:
"I am Nagham. I am 21 years old. I study nursing at level 4. I live in Gaza under the war. My family and I lost our home. My father suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes. We need to survive the war and leave Gaza to complete my studies and treat my father."
We will continue to update all donators of her and her family's situation; thanks in advanced for your generosity, every penny counts!
