Hi everyone,

My name is Nadisha, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family. We’ve been deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa in the parishes of St Elizabeth and Westmoreland Jamaica. It has destroyed our homes and vehicles, leaving us displaced and struggling to rebuild from scratch.

Right now, we’re trying to secure a safe place to stay and replace the essentials we have lost, e.g., food, clothing, and basic supplies. It’s been an incredibly difficult time, but we’re staying hopeful and doing our best to take things one day at a time.

Our roads are gone, we have no electricity and we have no idea as to when help will arrive.

We’re asking for help from anyone willing to lend a hand as we start over. All donations will go directly toward:

• Temporary housing and transportation

• Clothing, food, and essential household items

• Beginning the process of rebuilding our home and stability

We’re beyond grateful for any support, whether it’s a donation, sharing this campaign, or keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. Every bit truly helps as we work to rebuild our lives after this devastating loss.
