This is Nadeen again, I’m a simple 21-year-old girl who wants to live like any other girl her age: a young girl in a quiet room, going about her routine, or perhaps in the university courtyard, drinking a cup of coffee, studying hard to become a skilled interior designer. But I'm from Gaza, and in Gaza!

I hold in my heart the hope that I can leave this country to fulfill one of my simple dreams: to live in safety, far from the bombing, killing, fear, and famine.

Despite the siege in Gaza, I was living my life to the best of my ability. My family and I did not complete my education beyond high school due to my family's financial situation and the circumstances we were forced to live in.

Thank God, I escaped death a thousand times. We lost everything because of the damned war, and we no longer have any memories left in Gaza. Everything that belongs to us, including the entirety of Gaza, was destroyed.

Therefore, I do not believe that staying in Gaza will be safe anymore, that there will be peace and that dreams will come true.
