Dear Family and Friends,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved fur baby. She was more than just a pet—she was our emotional support animal, our comforter, and a part of our family.
My husband, a military veteran living with PTSD, got her as a therapy dog before we met. She was by his side through countless hard mornings, sleepless nights, and difficult days. She brought him peace, grounding, and companionship like no one else could. Over time, I too grew deeply attached to her in ways I never imagined.
Now that she’s gone, we are heartbroken and struggling to adjust to life without her. The house feels empty. We still find ourselves looking for her, expecting her to greet us, and the silence is overwhelming. The grief has hit us hard.
We know that another dog could never replace her, but we also know that having a new emotional support animal would help us heal and provide the daily support my husband truly needs.
Unfortunately, after the costs of saying goodbye to our girl, we’re not in a financial position to get another therapy dog right now. That’s why we’re reaching out to you—our family and friends—for support.
If you’re able and feel moved to do so, we would be incredibly grateful for any donation, big or small, to help us bring home another therapy dog. Your kindness could make a life-changing difference in our journey toward healing.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for being a part of our lives.
With love and gratitude,
