Help Nadia with Brain Surgery

My childhood friend Nadia needs your help! She has been diagnosed with a cystic brain tumor on her pineal gland, which is deep in the middle of the brain. The tumor puts increased pressure on her aqueduct that intermittently obstructs the cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) flow throughout her brain.  This is called aqueduct stenosis.  Nadia is at high risk of seizures and neurological damage, without this surgery there’s a possibility of other dangerous complications to occur such as hydrocephalus, herniation & calcification of the tumor, all associated with a variety of neuronal diseases.  As a result Nadia suffers many symptoms, which she describes as if she feels like her body is constantly attacking itself. These include, -24/7 cranial pressure headaches  -Pain behind her eyes -Positional tingling/numbness in her head  -Constant tingling/numbness in her feet  -Swollen painful tongue & swollen mouth/lips  -Frequent blood nose -Haemorrhage behind left retina  -Short and long term memory loss -Repetitive speech  -Syncope episodes due to   hypotension  -Increased anxiety  -Blurred vision  -Episodes of visual obscuration  -Confusion  -Brain fog -Constant fatigue  -Insomnia -Full body weekness and or pain  -Dizziness -Nausea & vomiting  -Food intolerance  -Intense sensory issues such as sensitivity to light and sound  Nadia is a single mother with a son who had a stroke in utero, cerebral palsy and autism. As time goes by it gets more and more difficult for Nadia to care for his needs.  Nadia is currently preparing for keyhole surgery, although still high risk, it is less invasive. This type of surgery is not performed in Australia so this will be done in Asia with one of the top neurosurgeons in the world.  Under the care of her neurosurgeon, Nadia will be making pre op preparations to make sure she is in optimal health to ensure she has the best recovery outcomes.  Pre op preparations include microbiome testing for gut-brain health, she will then be seeing a dietician for an individualised meal plan with supplements, and will undergo an intensive 5 day TMS treatment plan in Sydney, which stimulates parts of the brain that are not working sufficiently enough, according to her functional MRI test. There will be multiple specialist appointments during this process. These treatment costs are $15,000 including flights, doctors appointments and accommodations in Sydney.  The rest of the money will go towards the surgery itself, including flights which Nadia will need to use businesses class on the way home so she’s comfortable, hospital fees and accommodation for recovery, and post op appointments.  We know that it is tough times for everyone, so if you are unable to donate, please share Nadia’s GoFundMe page.
