My name is Nadia Tumiwa. I’m a 27-year-old Indonesian pianist and piano teacher. Four years ago I moved to Rotterdam. I’m so happy and excited to have been admitted to the Musician Educator master's program at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. It's a dream come true and a wonderful opportunity to develop further as an educator!

As a non-EU citizen my first year of tuition costs almost €12,000. Despite working and saving up, applying for grants and scholarships, I still can’t close the gap on my own. That's why I am turning to you for support. Any support, whether a donation, or simply sharing this campaign, means the world to me and brings me closer to my dream of studying at the Royal Conservatory.

Music has always been the center of my life. It’s how I express myself and connect with others. I’d love to give something back to Dutch society by sharing my knowledge and mentoring young musicians.

My role is to help my students become independent musicians who can make their own artistic choices. But above all, I just want my students to enjoy playing the piano. If I can help my students enjoy their musical journey, I’ve succeeded.
