Hi, my name is Nada Ala'raj, 29 years old a mother and a wife from Gaza.
I’m posting this after months of thoughts and hesitation, with despair, believing now that this is our only option to stay alive. With the constant thought of the responsibility I carry, to protect my family.
In these incredibly tough times, we're turning to you with the hope that your kindness could change everything for us.
Due to the current war on Gaza, the situation has gone drastically bad. Our family is facing challenges that are pushing us to our limits, and we're reaching out, hoping for a glimmer of relief.
Gaza has been our home, with all its joys and struggles, but right now, it is a matter of life and death.
We're a big family, of 13 members, and we're struggling to survive:
My Husband: Ahmed Sabbah and my angelic little daughters Mesk, Maria, and Sham Sabbah.
My Father: Deeb Ala'raj
My Mother: Reema Ala'raj
My sisters: Warda, Layan and brother Waseem.
My sister's family: Nashwan, Lama, and Little 3 years old Ahmed
We've stayed in the north for a while but the situation became horrifically unbearable. We left the north and evacuated more than 7 times, threatened by airstrikes and death, last flee was 10 days ago from Dayr Albalah to Alnosirat, now we have returned to Dayr Alabalah again.
Reem’s story:
My name is Reem Al-Araj. I am a mother and a very sick grandmother. I needed treatment in Egypt, and I am alone there, but the financial situation is very difficult and there is no income from which I can buy treatment, as the Egyptian Hospital does not provide any type of medical services, only tests, so I have to Buy everything on me.
please do whatever you can to help these families. Thank you very much.

DECEMBER,12 update
I am Lama Al-Aqrab from Gaza, who does not sleep on her wounds, but rather makes wings from them. A visual artist and voiceover artist, I don't just carry with me my degree in psychological counseling, but I carry more than that. I carry the story of a people, the dreams of a homeland, and pain that refuses to become a habit.
I am the mother of my child, Ahmed, the little boy who I want him to grow up in a free homeland, where he is not afraid of sunlight and is not accustomed to the sound of shells. I want him to be strong, to be a face that tells our stories, to create a small glory in the middle of a world that tries to turn off the lights.
I am not here to count our losses or review our sorrows. I'm here to say that we are not numbers, and we are not dead on the death row. We live, love, dream, and fight darkness with the lamps of hope that we create from our patience. I am an ambitious woman. I work to achieve my dreams and live in dignity, despite the siege and wars. I don't want to be just a passing memory in the news. I want to leave a mark, to write a new chapter in the story of a people that will not die, because life, with all its stubbornness, flows through our veins.
PS,
The photo is for her and her baby boy Ahmed.
Ahmed.
