I am one of the volunteers behind gaza-verified, a grassroot humanitarian initiative that verifies the claims of people from Gaza.

I run this campaign for Nada Farhat. She is a friend and her account has been verified by the gaza-verified volunteers.

This is her appeal.

I am Nada from Gaza City. Overnight, I became responsible for carrying the full weight of my entire family. After my husband suffered a serious injury, I became both a mother and a father at the same time, managing our whole life and taking care of our children. My husband lost sight in one eye, and the other was severely damaged, leaving him in need of ongoing treatment and continuous care.

We lost our home, and our lives turned into living in tents; we lost almost everything. Now, I am trying to provide my family with the basic necessities—food and treatment for my injured husband—along with supporting my daughter, who is a university student dreaming of completing her education despite all the circumstances.

I know I must be strong for my family, because if I weaken, they all weaken. I strive every day to endure and provide everything needed, but alone, I cannot face all these challenges.
