My name is Nada Ayerst, and I grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, before immigrating to Australia. Adapting to constant change became a way of life—my family moved frequently, sometimes experiencing homelessness. Through all these hardships, I found solace in art and fashion. It became my language and my escape.

From a young age, I spent countless hours sketching, designing, and hand-stitching clothes for my toys. The local library became my haven, where I devoured every fashion and art book I could find. Fashion wasn’t just an interest—it became my anchor.

After finishing high school, I pursued a Bachelor’s in Fashion Design at RMIT, where my work was showcased at Melbourne Fashion Week. Now, after many gruelling acceptance rounds, I’ve been given an extraordinary opportunity—to study for my Master’s at the London College of Fashion, one of the world’s most prestigious fashion institutions. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance, but I need your help to make it a reality.

Despite working two jobs, the cost of tuition and living expenses in London is overwhelming. My parents are unable to assist me much financially—my mother works in Community Art and my father works as a taxi driver in rural Victoria.

My tuition fees alone total $50,000 AUD, and the cost of living as a student in London averages around a minimum of $2,460 per month. While I fully intend to work part-time while studying, I want to ensure that I can truly focus on this amazing and life changing opportunity.
