Help Nada Abuyousef Survive Gaza's Genocide
Donation protected
This is a fundraiser for Nada Abuyousef, a young woman trapped in Northern Gaza as the genocide rages around her. Nada will be tuning 24 next month. She graduated from Al-Azhar University of Gaza with a major in English Translation. One of the most difficult things for Nada in this nightmare is that she is separated from her mother, who is in Egypt. The closing of the crossings has prevented them from seeing each other for the past 2 years.
Nada was displaced in Khanyounes staying with family, but during the ceasefire she and other family members went back to their homes in the North. What they found was utter destruction. Her house was transformed into a pile of rubble, as was the fate of so many others.
Now that the Gaza strip has been cut in half again, she and everyone else in the North are trapped there as the bombs rain nonstop on, food and water become ever scarcer and more expensive to procure. The occupation forces have spared nothing and no one. They are targeting what remains of the hospitals, the aid distribution points, gathering places, the few remaining standing buildings, full of families, and the tents of the displaced. The horror is intensifying as famine ravages the strip. There is nowhere that is safe.
"I want to tell you about displacement. Like anyone in Gaza who has lived this bad situation, it's so hard and so scary when you suddenly need to evacuate your place without taking any clothes or food or anything. It happened to us a lot of times all through the war. Every time gets harder and harder with the difference of time and place. It's terrifying when you're in the street and literally don't know where you should go or where you will sleep..."
Nada wishes that when this war, this genocide ends, she will be first of all reunited with her dear mother. She would also like to get her masters degree in translation.
Please donate whatever you can for essentials to help Nada survive this war to see her mother again.
