Help Our Cat Mystogan's Fight With Cancer
Donation protected
Twelve years ago, my wife and I opened our hearts and home to an adorable little kitten we named Mystogan. We adopted him from Orange County Animal Services in Orlando, just six months old, wide-eyed and full of energy! From the moment we brought him home, he became a part of our family—a gentle soul who filled our lives with comfort, laughter, and unconditional love.
Mystogan was always an indoor cat, but last year, in a moment that shook us to our core, he slipped outside and disappeared. We searched everywhere, clinging to hope but fearing the worst. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. We thought we had lost him forever.
Then, just when hope had begun to fade, a miracle happened! A kind stranger found him and brought him to a local vet. Thanks to his microchip, we got the call we had been praying for. Mystogan was coming home. It was a moment of pure grace—proof that love, when it’s strong enough, can find its way back.
Now, we face another kind of heartbreak. Our sweet Mystogan, who has given us nothing but love for over a decade, has been diagnosed with a rare and inoperable form of bladder cancer. The road ahead is uncertain, and the weight of this news is heavy. But the vet has given us a glimmer of hope—radiation therapy. We were told cats that have gone through this treatment have shown improvement with their quality of life.
So we hold on to that hope. Because Mystogan is not just a pet—he is family. He is resilience. He is the living reminder that even in the darkest moments, light can return. We are committed to doing everything we can for him, just as he has done for us all these years. His story isn’t over yet.
