Help myself raise enough to avoid Eviction.

Hello name is Jason Lynch, I am from Toronto and I need your help.

I created this fundraiser to see if I could raise enough to avoid Eviction from my residence pay my bills during a Stay at Home Covid order in Toronto, Canada.

I am not eligible for the Covid benefits that Canada offers to those out of work... 

A little about myself and the situation. This is my first fundraiser, I am a photographer/artist .
Before Covid hit I was a freelancer, I was doing what I loved and was doing well.

Than Covid hit and everything changed. My employment opportunities as an entrepreneur dropped dramatically due to restrictions.

Last year was a rough year for myself and my family. In the beginning of the year my mother had a heart attack however thank God she was able to recover.

After that a couple months later my father ended up in the hospital.
He caught Covid and sadly passed away.

We were unable to have a proper funeral because of restrictions as well a final goodbye...

After these events it hit me hard mentally, emotionally and financially.

I have depression now as well PTSD from the events that unfolded last year.

Thinking that 2021 was going to be different I tried to change my mindset and outlook to more of a positive approach.

However last night my landlord had dropped by and handed me an eviction letter for past due rent.
I explained to him that because of Covid, and the prior events that happened in my life I was finding it difficult to find the funds to pay rent and my bills .

He began to tell me how far I was behind and he had to hand me this notice. After getting the notice I couldn't sleep, my stress levels were through the roof and I had an anxiety attack.

I have been looking for employment everyday however because of the Covid restrictions and the Stay at Home order the call backs have slowed down.

I have tried to handle it the best way I know how, however the weight of the eviction notice as well the bills overdue and the past events are really taking a toll on myself.

I am finding it really hard to focus on the positive outlook as well trying to keep myself motivated.

This is my first fundraiser I would never create one if I didn't need help. I have till Feb 17th to come up with the rent to cover prior months before the eviction goes to the next step.

Please you can help out anything would help it would be greatly appreciated.

Any little amount helps out with rent , bills , etc.
