My name is Myrtha, and I am starting this fundraiser for myself, my two children, and the baby I am expecting during an incredibly difficult time. My husband, who is also the father of my two children, was detained by ICE on September 15th while working his delivery job. Since then, our family has been facing urgent financial strain and uncertainty. Our children are 6 and 3 years old, and they miss their father dearly. He was our main financial provider, and without him here, I am doing everything I can to hold our family together and keep my children safe, cared for, and supported.

The funds from this fundraiser will help cover our most immediate basic needs, including rent, utilities, legal support, food, and other necessities for me and my children. My husband and I are from Haiti, and it is not safe for us to return to our home country. We are asking our community for help so our family can remain where we are safe while we navigate this crisis. Reaching out for help is not easy, but any support means so much to us during this time. I am deeply grateful for the kindness and care of anyone who is able to stand with my family.
