Help Myron Replace His Damaged MacBook

Myron, a devoted student at Earlham School of Religion and a leader in Iglesia Amigos of Richmond, Indiana, and the Richmond Immigrant Solidarity Group, recently lost his MacBook to water damage. The repair costs exceed the value of his laptop, leaving him without a critical tool for his studies, ministry, and community work. We’ve found a gently used replacement, but timing is key—we’re hoping to secure funds quickly to avoid added tariff costs that could inflate the price. Here is a statement from Myron about his need for a laptop:

A laptop is vital for my studies and work, as it supports both my academic and professional responsibilities. For my involvement with Iglesia Amigos (a Spanish speaking Quaker worship group), I need a laptop to participate in weekly Zoom worship sessions. Additionally, I am beginning to produce Quaker media videos, which will require a computer for editing and content creation. My upcoming internship with Western Yearly Meeting and ongoing work with the Immigrant Solidarity Network are remote, meaning I’ll need a laptop to complete tasks, host meetings, and access databases. Beyond these commitments, having my own laptop would allow me to read, write articles, and securely store personal documents. Currently, I depend on a borrowed laptop, but since I’ll need to return it soon, having my own device is essential to continue this work without disruption.
